How much does an LED video wall cost?
Pricing depends on three things: total screen size, pixel pitch, and indoor vs outdoor rating. Finer pitch means more LEDs per square foot and higher cost; outdoor weather-sealing and brightness add to it. Small indoor walls start in the low five figures, while large billboards and fine-pitch studio walls scale up from there. What pixel pitch do I need?
Use the rule of thumb: minimum viewing distance in meters ≈ the pitch number. P1.2–P2.5 for close-viewing indoor spaces like conference rooms and retail; P3–P5 for lobbies, stages and near outdoor signage; P6–P10 for roadside billboards viewed from 8m+. Indoor vs outdoor LED walls — what's actually different?
Outdoor walls are weather-sealed to IP65/IP66 and run at 5,000–10,000 nits to beat direct sunlight. Indoor walls prioritize finer pitch, lower brightness (600–1,500 nits), lighter cabinets and quieter operation. If your space needs both, our hybrid Vista series is engineered for exactly that.
How long does an LED video wall last?
Quality LED walls are rated for roughly 100,000 hours — over 10 years of continuous operation. Because the panels are modular, individual modules, power supplies and receiving cards swap out in minutes, extending serviceable life well beyond the diode rating. LED vs LCD video wall — which is better?
Direct-view LED has no bezels or seams, far higher brightness, deeper contrast, and scales to any size or shape — including curves and floors. LCD walls cost less at small sizes but always show grid lines and struggle in bright rooms. For any wall meant to impress or be seen at distance, direct-view LED is the standard.
