Indoor LED Video WallBuilt as Public Art
Fifteen modular LED screens — 150 fine-pitch panels at a 2.6 mm pixel pitch — turn a California civic space into a living gallery. Built on the Taurus Series for seamless splicing, slim depth, and gallery-grade color.
When the indoor LED video wall is the artwork.
Most indoor LED displays are built to sell something. This one was built to start a conversation. The City of Morgan Hill wanted a permanent canvas for public art — a medium local artists could actually program, not a billboard with a gallery label on it. That meant a display honest enough to render an artist's color exactly, slim enough to read as architecture, and modular enough that the layout itself could be part of the composition.
The Brief
Give a civic space a permanent, programmable canvas for public art — one that enriches the cultural life of the city rather than advertising to it.
The Build
150 fine-pitch LED panels on the Taurus Series, configured into 15 independent screens of 1.5 × 2.5 m (≈ 5 × 8 ft). A 2.6 mm pixel pitch holds detail at gallery viewing distance, and seamless splicing lets separate screens carry a single continuous work.
The Result
A modern visual language woven into the city's cultural fabric — and a layout flexible enough to be recomposed for each new commission, so the installation never shows the same face twice.

Public art has nowhere to hide.
An advertisement is forgiven a coarse pixel and an approximate color. An artwork is not — people walk up to it, and they know what the artist intended. That is why this project needed a fine-pitch indoor LED display rather than a signage-grade one: 2.6 mm resolves cleanly at arm's length, and accurate color means the work on the wall is the work the artist made. The Taurus Series delivers both, in a build slim enough to belong in a civic space.
