Unity Platinum is LED Vision’s outdoor LED video wall for billboards, building facades, roadside signage and city-centre digital-out-of-home — built around an all-aluminum, die-cast chassis that runs −40°C to +60°C without air-conditioning. Peak brightness reaches 10,000 nits with a 12,000+:1 contrast ratio, sealed to IP66 front and rear. It ships in four standard pixel pitches, and now in a larger-format Unity Platinum Pro cabinet for bigger single-structure billboards.

A billboard or facade screen is judged in direct midday sun, not in a showroom. Unity Platinum is built for that comparison: high-brightness LEDs, black-face optics for real contrast, and a pixel pitch chosen for the actual viewing distance rather than a single one-size spec.
Brightness is 6,000–9,000 nits on PT5.7 / PT6.67 and 6,000–10,000 nits on PT8 / PT10 — finer pixel pitches run a lower peak, which is normal across the category. Full figures are on the Unity Platinum specification sheet.
Built for the outdoors
An aluminum cabinet engineered to be left outside
Sun, rain, salt air and temperature swings are the normal operating environment for a billboard or facade screen, not an edge case. Unity Platinum’s die-cast aluminum chassis, sealing and heat-sink design are built around that.
Construction is all-aluminum with pin-to-pin cabinet connection and a heat-sink design that keeps the panel within its operating range without an air-conditioned enclosure. An optional extinguisher-bulb power supply is available: the bulb bursts at an over-high temperature and releases a non-toxic, non-conductive fire-suppressant liquid, preventing reignition — ask about this option when you request a quote.
Energy & running cost
Lower running cost, with a solar option for off-grid sites
A billboard or facade wall runs for years, so power draw is a real line item. Unity Platinum’s dual-voltage drive and air-conditioning-free chassis are built to keep that number down.
4.2V and 3.2V, each component at the voltage it needs
Rather than feeding every component from one supply voltage and burning the surplus as heat, Unity Platinum’s dual-voltage drive distributes power across 4.2V and 3.2V rails so each part runs at the level it actually needs. That cuts heat, reduces energy loss and extends component life, while keeping performance stable.

Solar power for sites without reliable grid access
Where grid power is expensive, unreliable or unavailable — a rural roadside site or a remote facade — Unity Platinum can be specified with a solar-and-battery configuration: solar panels charge a high-capacity battery rated for up to 48 hours of continuous operation at up to 6,000 nits after a full charge. This is an optional configuration, not the standard build — ask about it when you request a quote.

Maintenance
Front or rear access, whichever the site allows
Billboards and facade installs don’t always offer a way behind the screen. Unity Platinum’s modules, cabinets and power supply units all come out from either side, so the installation dictates the service method rather than the panel.
Module
The smallest field-replaceable unit — swap a faulted module in seconds rather than pulling the whole cabinet.
Cabinet
Pin-to-pin cabinet connections keep seams tight across a straight, curved or cornered run.
Power supply box
Serviced independently of the display surface, from front or rear, including the optional fire-suppressant E-bulb.
Creative installation
Straight run, 45° corner, or a seamless curve
Billboard structures aren’t always flat. Unity Platinum cabinets are built to splice around a corner or a curve without a visible seam, which is what makes wraparound and corner-format billboards possible.
Corners, curves and custom forms — without a visible seam
Cabinets are available with a 45° cut-corner edge for a clean right-angle splice, and in curved variants for seamless inner and outer bends — useful for wraparound facades, rounded building corners and large-radius “VR” corner installs. In a corner or wraparound configuration, Unity Platinum has been used to produce a naked-eye 3D visual effect, where content appears to extend around and out of the corner rather than sitting flat against it.

Unity Platinum Pro — a bigger cabinet for bigger structures
For large single-structure billboards, road signs and DOOH installations where fewer, larger cabinets simplify the build, Unity Platinum Pro runs the same aluminum, IP66, front-and-rear-serviceable design in a bigger format.
Fewer joins, same aluminum IP66 build
Unity Platinum Pro is built around a larger cabinet — 800 × 1200mm or 900 × 800mm, depending on the structure — so a large billboard or road sign needs fewer cabinet joins than the same area built from Unity Platinum’s 960 × 960mm base cabinet. It carries the same 10,000-nit brightness and IP66 front-and-rear rating, tested to TUV, with fanless cooling and front-and-rear maintenance access.

Pixel pitch options
Unity Platinum ships in four standard pixel pitches, plus three in the larger Platinum Pro cabinet:
As a rule of thumb, the pitch in millimetres is roughly the closest comfortable viewing distance in metres. Finer pitches (5.7–6.67mm) suit street-level and close-viewing signage; coarser pitches (8–10mm) suit billboards and facades viewed from further back, and cost less per square metre. Platinum Pro’s larger cabinet is chosen for structural reasons — fewer joins across a large single billboard or road sign — independent of pitch.

Can Unity Platinum stay outside year-round?
Yes — that is what the specification is built for. The enclosure is rated IP66 front and rear, and the operating range is −40°C to +60°C without air-conditioning. The chassis is all-aluminum with a heat-sink design, and the panel carries a 5VB fire rating and a Force 12 typhoon (119km/h) wind rating.
How bright is it, and does it stay visible in direct sun?
Peak brightness reaches 10,000 nits on the 8mm and 10mm pitches (6,000–9,000 nits on the finer 5.7mm and 6.67mm pitches), with a 12,000+:1 contrast ratio. That is built specifically for daylight and direct-sun readability on a billboard or facade, not indoor viewing.
What’s the difference between Unity Platinum and Unity Platinum Pro?
Both share the same core build — aluminum chassis, IP66 sealing, front-and-rear service, up to 10,000 nits. The difference is cabinet size: Unity Platinum uses a 960 × 960mm cabinet in four pitches (PT5.7–PT10); Unity Platinum Pro uses a larger 800 × 1200mm or 900 × 800mm cabinet in three pitches (PT6.67–PT10), which reduces the number of cabinet joins on a large single billboard or road sign.
Can it be installed around a corner or a curve?
Yes. Cabinets are available with a 45° cut-corner edge for a right-angle splice, and in curved variants for seamless inner and outer bends, including large-radius “VR” corners.
